KATHERINE DUNCAN
Katherine began her career as a trained dancer, both ballet and
modern, having earned a BFA/Dance from UCI.  She danced
professionally for three year and became a fitness professional
during her years as a mother of young children.  She has worked in
the fitness industry for over fifteen years, and has taught the gamut of
classes, courses and styles.  Katherine has practiced Pilates as part
of her own conditioning for many years and was certified in Pilates
Reformer three years ago by Stott Pilates out of the Southern
California training center at
John Garey Pilates.

Katherine is an avid triathlete with over eight years experience in
multi-sports competition.  She has been a consistent top ten age
division performer and has competed in sprint to Half Ironman

formula for all her athletic endeavors.  Katherine further enhanced
her devotion to triathlon by becoming a USAT certified coach as well
as getting a personal trainer certification from AFAA.  She has been
on the coaching staff for a major Orange County triathlon club for over
three years.

She believes in Pilates as a way to improve lifestyle and wellness in
all people, regardless of current fitness level.
JULIANNE LAND
Around 10 years ago, Julianne discovered Pilates and immediately
loved the benefits.  Having a dance and chorography background,
Julianne knew that a career with Pilates was the perfect combination
with dance. A year ago, Julianne decided to pursue her Stott Pilates
Certification through the
John Garey Pilates Studio in Long Beach,
CA. She continues to advance her training through additional
workshops and seminars.

Julianne is also an avid runner and triathlete. She is AFAA certified in
group fitness and is also a Zumba instructor. Additionally, she has
been involved in local area theatre group for a number of years.

She strongly believes that incorporating Pilates into your daily routine
will improve your overall wellness and being. Her passion is to share
the wonderful world of Pilates with as many people as possible,
hopefully,  helping them to realize the tremendous benefits of Pilates
in a fun, enthusiastic way.
CONNIE NEEDHAM
Connie was first introduced to the benefits of Pilates through fellow
dancers.  Word traveled quickly how Pilates was assisting dancers
in gaining strength exactly where they needed it, at their center or
core.  Pilates was being credited not only for preventing injury, but
also for it's assistance in the recovery process.  Connie has worked
in the entertainment industry both as a dancer, and actress from the
age of 12, and has been teaching dance for over 15 years.  As she
learned more about Pilates, and experienced its benefits first hand,
becoming certified was the obvious progression.  Connie trained
with Diane Difenderfer, a master teacher in the Ron Fletcher method
of Pilates, and was certified in June 2007.  Connie is thrilled to share
Pilates with her students, and is a strong believer that Pilates is a
great asset to anyones fitness program, and will help you to be better
at whatever it is that you like to do.
CHRIS REUTER
Chris has been involved with physical fitness most of her life.  She
has been practicing Pilates for more than three years. After
witnessing the impact and awareness that it has brought to her own
body and mind, Chris enrolled in the
Body Art and Science
International certification program and decided that it would become
her goal to share this knowledge with others.

After an interesting and eclectic series of jobs in various fields, Chris
began to pursue her passion for makeup artistry, studying at the
Make-up Designery in Burbank where she completed a journeyman
program for hairstyling, character and beauty makeup.

Almost four years ago, two events in Chris’s life inspired her to
plunge into the world of Pilates.  Giving birth to her daughter Hailey
and watching a relative who developed severe neck and back
issues. She quickly saw the benefits of Pilates and realized that it
can help prevent injuries to persons who lead a sedentary lifestyle
and she was determined to insure that by studying and practicing the
art of Pilates and its effect on posture , flexibility and strength, she
could help others  have an overall better quality of life.
KRISTEN RILEY
Kristen S. Riley began her love with the art of movement as a young
student of ballet and gymnastics.  Kristen is a native Californian who
attended the University of Arizona where she pursued a Bachelor of
Arts in Business and Communication.

Kristen was first introduced to Pilates while on a journey to
strengthen her own body awareness and improve her overall health
and wellness.  She quickly found that Pilates not only re-educated
but also reshaped her entire body.  She became certified in the
classical system through the internationally recognized New York
based
Power Pilates.   Kristen emphasizes the mind body
connection while ensuring clients enjoy their studio experience.  Her
expertise includes teaching all levels of Pilates with a special
interest in post-rehabilitation populations.

Kristen is a member of the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) and is
committed to honoring the integrity of the methods of Joseph Pilates
(classical method) while integrating fresh and innovation techniques.
Kristen will continue to enhance her training and knowledge while
pursing continuing education and specialty certifications.
MARY RUSSELL
After having been a student of Pilates for more than 10 years, Mary
recently graduated from the
Body Arts and Science International
comprehensive teacher-training course, studying under Rael
Isacowitz. Her interest in Pilates stemmed from an interest in yoga
and the simplicity of movement.

Mary has been gradually shifting her career towards Pilates after
many years as a graphic designer, and more recently, a Web
designer and manager. Seeing the impact and changes Pilates
made in her own life and with her body, she was inspired to take
courses to teach others and to inspire them to lead better, more
productive lives.

Mary also enjoys tennis, golf, walking and bicycling, which help her
maintain a well-rounded, healthy lifestyle.
